Professional and compassionate

We turned to Animal Search UK when our beloved cat Ralph went missing on 27th May. We were beside ourselves with worry. We had already tried sharing posts on local Facebook groups and putting up some temporary handmade posters, to no avail, and we felt that getting a professional campaign organised was the next step. After registering him as missing on the website, we received a phone call from the team offering to design and print professional posters/flyers for Ralph. After a short email exchange to confirm details, they were in the post and arrived around 10am the next morning. They were high quality and came with all the bits we needed to attach posters to lampposts etc.

Thankfully, as Ralph was an indoor cat, he hadn't strayed far and we actually found him safe and sound due to our neighbours spotting him on their doorbell footage, only a few hours after distributing our posters and leaflets from Animal Search UK, but it was such a comfort to know that we had done everything we could. We couldn't have sat by and waited/done nothing whilst we were so worried, so going around posting the leaflets gave us something to do and also kept us out in the local neighbourhood whilst we kept an eye out for him.

On this occasion it turned out to be word of mouth/social media that helped get our boy back, but it was so comforting to have a compassionate, tactful team looking out for us whilst we were searching. Highly professional and even provided guidance on how to claim through insurance for the costs of his advertising campaign. Thank you - would use again (although hopefully we never have to!!).

When your pet goes missing it's difficult to know what to do, or where to start. Having a step by step guide, provided in a way that is comforting and supportive is an absolute life line.

The ability to tap into a wonderful community that will help as they can, to bring your pet back home is so, so much appreciated.

Very helpful to spread the word about my lost cat- although after 4 days and serious injuries, my cat Tilly found her way home and is now recovering at Vet hospital nearby. Reassuring that others care and are willing to help you find your beloved family pet.

I’ve been caring for my sister’s cat whilst she’s away and it ran away the other day due to my carelessness. I was distressed, regretful and doubtful that i would find the cat so I searched online for help and I discovered animal search uk. I registered with them, provided details of the cat etc. I followed their advice and within eighteen hours the cat returned home like it never left!!
A lovely lady by the name of Alisha suggested I leave some fish outside my door as a way of attracting the cat back and it worked. I am so happy and relieved to have the cat back in my possession. Vital reuniting service

Owner friendly, fantastic free to use service, that puts reuniting owners with their missing/stolen furry family members as it's priority. Their service greatly supplements other agencies. And is a vital service.

Thanks to my cases, and being able to prove ownership, I am pleased to write I have successfully been reunited with my furry family members.

Amazing and passionate people ❤

I reported my cat lost on Sunday evening, followed their advice to the letter with my search and found her only a few houses away on Tue night! Make sure your neighbours check PROPERLY or insist to check yourself and go for a walk calling them when it's dark and quiet, they feel a lot safer at night and you're more likely to hear them meow if stuck somewhere. Stay positive and don't give up!

A comfort in a time of stress

When you lose your cat you feel very much alone in your search to find them. Just knowing there is an organisation like Animal search is comforting and helps tremendously in increasing your hope in finding your pet. We had several calls of sightings but sadly in our case, someone took him to a vet before contacting us, who put him down without even bothering to check that he was chipped.

I found their service to be very good and they kept in contact whenever a member of public phoned them. I was lucky enough to be able to go through my insurance to get posters and leaflets printed. Not sure I would have afforded to pay otherwise as it is quite expensive and not sure there is enough social media coverage from their end but posters looked good and very professional (albeit a general template) and they provide you with everything you need to put them up which arrived very quickly. I actually found my cat without someone calling but I think that sometimes having that bit extra gives you more confidence and people notice the advertising. Anything that helps to reunite people and pets is a good thing

Helped find our lost dog

We hired Animal Search UK to look for our lost dog, the search team were fantastic and found the dog down a rabbit hole! The service was costly but more than worth it. Could never put a price on our gorgeous boys life. The wife couldn’t be happier.

We hired the search team 13 days after our darling cat Naja went missing. The team in the office were great and quick to get everything organised, the empathy and support from them really helped during what was a really upsetting time. Tom and Andrew were very professional and took time to talk with us before they went out about Naja, her habits, where we'd already been, what leads we'd been given and to tell us their plan for the day. They didn't find Naja on the day but gave us some good leads and great advice which led us to find her in the early hours of the morning the next day! We were absolutely amazed and really not sure we would have found her quite as quickly as we did if wasn't for the time and effort the team put in. We had done a lot of searching ourselves, door to door people's gardens, leafleting and putting up posters, so it took us a bit of time to decide to go with the Animal Search Team because we weren't sure what they would do that we hadn't already. We underestimated the impact of their presence in the area and the impact of their much more visible and durable posters, in retrospect of course we wish we'd hired them sooner! We are so very grateful to the whole Animal Search Team, we couldn't recommend them more highly. We still can't believe we found Naja after all that time - and can't believe we found her so close by.
