As the lockdown begins to ease, we at Animal Search will be restarting some of our services for those who need help to find a missing pet.

We will continue to observe the restrictions detailed in the government guidelines, both in the way we work and the advice we give to those who need our help.

We have prepared a short Q&A to help you:

1. What services are we able to offer?

We are now able to offer our media campaigns, these include specially designed posters and leaflets, we will also include our patented clip system in order to attach to street furniture.

2. How do I order a campaign?

Simply register on our website, then get in touch with our advisers by email to or you can call us on 01244 355 247 and we can discuss the best way to help you.

3. How long will it take to get my order?

We and our couriers are still working under some restrictions so it may take slightly longer than normal although we still expect 90% of campaigns confirmed before 2pm to be delivered the next working day. You will be kept informed from order confirmation right the way through to a text message when the campaign is out for delivery.

4. What do I need to do?

It would be very helpful if you could in the first instance provide us with a good clear photo of your pet, and a description with any identifying marks your pet may have, if you could provide us with a brief explanation of the how your pet went missing, dates and time would also be helpful

5. How will I receive my campaign?

We despatch all campaigns confirmed by 2pm (on the day of order) by ParcelForce for next working day delivery. Please consult the parcel force help page for more information on delivery of parcels here.

6. How can I ensure safety when the parcel arrives?

As far as possible our campaigns are produced with limited personal contact. All our production staff use appropriate PPE and each campaign we produce is completed with fresh equipment. You should remain 2 metres from the courier on delivery - they should not require you to sign for it.

7. What further measures should I take?

When you have the parcel, sanitize or thoroughly wash your hands, wipe down the boxes with a cleaning solution or disinfecting wipe. Remove the campaign from the boxes and wipe the contents, then sanitize or wash your hands again.

8. How do I know it’s safe to touch?

If you follow these guidelines your exposure will be limited however please take all necessary precautions to stay safe. We have included within your campaign safety gloves and facemasks, please use these when you intend to distribute your campaign in your area and dispose of them when you finish. We are on call should you require further guidance. Please remember it is your responsibility to ensure all safety precautions are taken when distributing your campaign:
  • please observe social distancing at all times;
  • use sanitizer;
  • use the supplied PPE; and
  • if you intend to speak to other residents it is advisable to wear a face mask to reduce the risk of any droplet infection.
  • Many thanks and good luck
