The privacy of people using our website is of the utmost importance to us we strongly recommend that you take note of our terms of conditions and our privacy policy before using our website. This privacy policy statement explains how we will deal with you personal information once you have submitted it to us.
When you register as a user with Animal Search UK we will request you to provide us with certain necessary details: Your name, your telephone number, your email address, your home address or c/o work address (for Rescues etc), and details of the missing pet you are reporting lost of found.
During the registration process, you will be required to supply a password, which allows you to log in your details later. Then you can also read messages that have been sent to you from other users once they have been verified and authenticated by Animal Search UK. Please keep your password safe and do not disclose it to any other person. Remember to log out after using our website and if you’re sharing a computer or using a computer in a public place that can be used by other members of the public please remember to close down the browser to prevent others from accessing your details or getting your information about your account.
Animal Search UK will not release your details to any other body or third party unless we have received prior permission to do this from you.
Animal Search UK staff or volunteers (normally based in our HQ) may contact you directly to discuss your missing pet/ pet you have found. We may also discuss ways how we can help further, with questions about our service, the different services that we provide and maybe to gather information about what your opinion would be of services we are potentially going to offer in the future.
When we have received your personal information, we will make every effort to ensure that is stored safely and not disclosed to anyone without authorisation. Since the internet is open to a wide range of people across the globe even if we have done our best to protect this information there is no guarantee whatsoever that the information that sent to us by you is absolutely safe. However, we will take every reasonable step possible to ensure the details are kept secure.
When we take details either by phone, email or post with regard to your credit card /debit card details for example if you are making a payment for our goods or services- we WILL NOT STORE OR RETAIN YOUR DETAILS other than to make the transaction. Your details will be deleted if stored electronically or securely shredded immediately by a member of our team in our offices if in written form.
We will not share your details with any 3rd parties without your prior consent.

Animal Search UK reserve the right to amend this privacy statement at any time, the amended statement will be posted in the same place on the website and no individual notification will be made to the users of the Animal Search UK site.
