How to join as a volunteer
Animal Search UK has a dedicated team of full time staff that run the service from our headquarters in Herefordshire. We also have an increasing team of dedicated and experienced volunteers helping support the main team.
Sharon Webb is one of those valued volunteers. Rufus pictured here with his owner Sharon was reunited with her after being missing for several weeks. It was because of a poster campaign carried out by Animal Search UK that Rufus was found, and ever since Sharon has been a friend and supporter of Animal Search UK. She has recently volunteered her services to help with searches in the Herefordshire and Worcestershire regions.
At the bottom of this page you will find a link to a free sign up page where you can become a 'email search volunteer' from the comfort of your own home. By registering as a volunteer you will automatically receive details about missing pets in the regions that you select. Simply follow the link at the bottom of this page to register free of charge as a home based internet pet detective/searcher.
In addition to this if you would like to get outdoors occasionally and enjoy some fresh air and at the same time help an owner who maybe needs a hand distributing some posters and leaflets then you should email us and list the postcode areas or county (Berkshire,Middlesex etc) that you would be interested in helping out within.
