History
In 1999, Tom Watkins decided that from his experience in the police force that not enough was done to help reunite owners and their missing/stolen pets. Animal Search UK was established by Tom in his home in the West Midlands.
It started as a telephone help line for owners who could add details of their missing pets to the Animal Search UK national database. Not to mention being able to seek advice and guidance from Tom to increase their chances of finding their pets.
Now 10 years on and after helping literally thousands of pets and their owners, Animal Search UK is now firmly established as the UK's leading search service for missing pets. This web site has been designed to offer straight forward help to owners and finders of missing pets any where in the UK completely free of charge.
Over the last 10 years the work that Animal Search UK does has been featured on many Radio shows and television shows all over the world as far a field as Russia. We have appeared on BBC1's Crimewatch Roadshow, The ONE Show, London Tonight, BBC Newsround, and numerous local BBC Radio stations. We are proud to be respected by many well-known organisations such as The RSPCA, Dogs Trust, Cats Protection and Battersea Dogs Home. All of these organisations, plus several police forces do mention Animal Search UK on their websites.
Tom's dedicated team all have valuable experience of their own pets, and we are able to offer the only dedicated search team with uniform search coordinators in marked vehicles in the UK.
Tom says "I hope you find this web site informative, useful and easy to use, if you have any suggestions on how to improve the web site we welcome them please "contact us".
